In accordance with CDC guidance to prevent the introduction and potential spread of illness within our locations and work force, we have taken the following precautionary measures:
All employees are reminded to exercise personal health and hygiene recommendations provided by the CDC and World Health Organization.
Health and hygiene kits that include disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer were distributed to all employees.
Working diligently to acquire adequate supplies for employees to service customer facilities.
Following the travel and health advisories of national and local governments and the World Health Organization and communicating to employees on a regular basis.
Incorporated social distancing protocol for support staff to mitigate the spread of germs and illness.
Directed employees who are feeling ill, exhibiting symptoms of illness (including respiratory disease or fever), or has a family member who is ill, to stay home.
Directed any contractors or visitors to our sites or district offices who are not feeling well to conduct meetings virtually and avoid visiting our facilities in person.
Asked that anyone who has travelled to or from a Level 3 or Level 2 area inform us immediately. Anyone traveling from a Level 3 country will be required to self-quarantine for at least 14 days while travellers to a level 2 country will be evaluated individually.
We are preparing for an impact on our workforce and we are consistently monitoring staffing levels throughout all areas of the organization in an effort to maintain the same level of world-class customer service you’ve come to expect from Schindler.
