Information for suppliers
Schindler requires all suppliers to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and integrity in their business dealings with Schindler, and also with other customers, vendors, employees, competitors, and communities. Please refer to the "Downloads for suppliers" box for links to Schindler’s Global Code of Conduct for Suppliers, as well as Schindler’s Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
In addition, Schindler requires all suppliers to comply with Green Product specifications and provisions of necessary information for material declaration, restriction, and avoidance requirements of hazardous substances according to our Supplier Declaration of Hazardous Substances (SDHS). A Candidate List of substances of very high concern can be found for your reference on the ECHA website (https://echa.europa.eu).
Note: Schindler standard Contract Terms and Conditions may apply to a specific vendor relationship, instead of or in addition to these Purchase Order terms. Please contact your Schindler purchasing representative with questions.
Supplier diversity
It is Schindler Elevator Corporation’s policy to treat all potential suppliers with equal opportunities to become a Schindler Preferred Supplier. To that end we encourage small, disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and HUBZone businesses to participate in quoting our goods and services.
We define diverse businesses as small businesses that are minority-owned small business, physically challenged business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business meeting the criteria as defined by the Small Business Administration (http://www.sba.gov).
