How does FQE work?
FQE performs a series of independent inspections—separate from the Schindler teams that do the installation work or maintain equipment after installation—to confirm safe operation of the equipment.
Inspections cover critical safety elements and systems, including:
- Brake system
- Governor and safety gear
- Landing door lock system
- Electrical system
