Schindler and the AIAS Launch New Elevator Pitch Competition

Schindler and the AIAS have teamed up to bring a new elevator pitch competition, Elevate Your Pitch, which presents students with a great opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win recognition and a portion of a cash prize pool.

MORRISTOWN, NJ, March 13, 2017 – The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is proud to announce a new partnership and elevator pitch competition with Schindler Elevator Corporation.

An elevator pitch is a quick description of your business and/or idea in the time it would take to ride up an elevator (60 seconds to 3 minutes). Presenting yourself effectively is an essential tool in the architectural profession, which can lead to new partnerships, new clients, and ultimately, new business. Ideas may be at any stage of development from creation of concepts or ideas to an established business or product.

The competition will run until May 26, 2017, at which point a jury of various backgrounds will select the best entries. The top three finalists will have a chance to compete for the grand prize at the AIAS Grassroots Leadership Conference being held in Washington, D.C.  July 6-9, 2017.
