At Schindler we have developed a range of lift maintenance and repair packages to ensure that our customers choose what they want. The Schindler Expert Plus Lift Maintenance package (click ExpertPlus to read more) has been extensively tested on both our own Schindler lifts and escalators, as well as with other manufactured products and equipment (non-Schindler manufactured). This offering has proven to be very effective and comes highly recommended by our team.
In the event of a lift or escalator breakdown or fault, Schindler guarantees a fast release for trapped users. With the push of a button passengers will be instantly connected to our National Customer Contact Centre (T: 0800 335566) and will be assisted by one of our experts who are available to all our customers twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Whether its a routine lift maintenance check or an urgent requirement for a lift repair our engineers need to be able to communicate with the office. Schindler enables this communication using the Personal Digital Assistance programme called Fieldlink . Carried by all Schindler lift engineers the FieldlinkTM application has the ability to update the engineer's status, order spare parts and remotely interact with lift control systems to diagnose a fault and check correct operation.
Safety is our Number One Priority here at Schindler. Periodic Safety Inspections are undertaken for every lift with a Schindler Lift Maintenance Contract. Each lift receives both an Annual and a Five Year Safety Inspection. Schindler's Periodic Safety Inspection Programme subjects customers' lifts to a safety regime in excess of the standard regulatory requirements.
