Pay at Schindler includes base salary, bonuses and other benefits. Each Schindler company follows the Group compensation policy, which takes into account profitability, internal equity, individual performance and relevant market practices.
Schindler supports the use of incentives and bonuses wherever justified. At management level, the variable component makes up a larger proportion of an individual's pay.
Schindler pays its employees according to relevant market benchmarks. We conduct regular market surveys to make sure that our compensation is competitive. Pay scales are kept simple, and each manager is responsible for communicating openly with each employee about her/his remuneration, based on advice from Human Resources.
