Designer EFZ

As a designer, you pull the strings when it comes to the development of a new product. At Schindler, you design specific customer solutions, test devices and new elevator components. Using state-of-the-art 3D CAD systems, you will design and draw individual parts and assemblies on the computer. The best results can be achieved by discussing your ideas with colleagues and production specialists.

Headquarter in Ebikon, Lucerne 

The basic training lasts 4 years.

• 1-2 days a week in Emmen
• Vocational school leaving certificate (if desired)
  

• Senior grade A or very good final marks in B-stream senior grade
• Logical thinking
• Spatial awareness
• Communication ability
  
• Ability to work in a team
  
• Enjoyment of mathematics, geometry, technical drawing and physics

A carefully planned course of further education at the technical school or college level will open the door to any number of exciting jobs for you.
