National Stadium in Beijing, China

Schindler provided the escalators for the 80,000-seat “Bird’s Nest” National Stadium which was a centerpiece of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

Sixteen Schindler escalators transported spectators within the National Stadium itself. Schindler escalators were specified for their reliability and because of their ability to move huge volumes of traffic.

AsiaWorld Expo, Hong Kong

The AsiaWorld-Expo is one of the major convention and exhibition facilities in Hong Kong.
Located nearby the Hong Kong International Airport, it comprises of more than 70,000 square meters spaces for exhibitions, conventions, concerts, sports and entertainment events. The purpose-built entertainment Arena with capacity of 14,000 seats, is Hong Kong's largest and most versatile indoor seated Arena.
Schindler provided 8 machine-roomless elevators and 20 escalators.
