Schindler to supply flagship project in Hanoi

Third highest skyscraper in Vietnam supplied with Schindler mobility solutions.

The Lotte Group, one of South Korea’s largest, has chosen Schindler as its partner for a flagship project in Hanoi. Soaring high above the city streets, the 65-floor Lotte Center – Vietnam’s third tallest skyscraper – will include 30 top-of-the-line Schindler 7000 elevators, offering visitors smooth, quiet and spacious rides at maximum speeds of 4–6 meters per second.

PORT included

Visitors to the Lotte Center will also benefit from Schindler’s latest innovation in transit management, PORT Technology.
Featuring a state-of-the-art touch-screen user terminal, PORT will guide visitors as they journey throughout the building, and provide enhanced security while maximizing the building’s traffic and energy efficiency.

The 267-meter Lotte Center will feature a unique architectural design inspired by the traditional Vietnamese dress, the Ao dai. Upon completion in 2014, the mixed-use project will cover a total area over 250,000 square meters and offer deluxe high-rise residential homes, 300 rooms for a luxury 5-star hotel, high-end offices and a shopping center.
