Schindler bezieht neuen Hauptsitz in Ebikon

Das Management des Aufzugskonzerns bezieht seinen neuen Hauptsitz. Damit ist ein weiterer Meilenstein auf dem Weg zum neuen Schindler Campus in Ebikon erreicht.

Schindler wurde vor mehr als 140 Jahren in der Schweiz gegründet und noch heute ist das Unternehmen fest in Ebikon verankert. Neben weltweiten Investitionen in die Erneuerung der globalen Produktionskette wurde in den vergangenen Jahren über CHF 130 Mio. in den Um- und Neubau des Campus in Ebikon investiert. Damit bekennt sich Schindler klar zum Standort, wo vor rund 60 Jahren bereits der alte Hauptsitz und das Werk erbaut wurden.

Modernste Arbeitsplätze dank neuem Bürokonzept

Mit dem Umzug in das neue Gebäude beginnt für den Konzernstab auch eine neue Ära. Transparente und modernste Grossraumbüros, nach Themen gestaltete Sitzungsräume (z.B. Wald, Wasser, Luft oder Gebirge), individuelle Begegnungszonen und kreative Lounges sowie eine Vielzahl von unkonventionellen Co-Working Möglichkeiten bieten ab sofort viel Raum für rund 280 Mitarbeiter in der Firmenzentrale.

«Wir haben grössten Wert daraufgelegt, unseren Mitarbeitern einen innovativen und kreativen Arbeitsplatz zu bieten. Sie sollen sich wohl fühlen und gleichzeitig den nötigen Freiraum finden, um sich zu entfalten», sagt Thomas Oetterli, CEO von Schindler.

LEED Gold Zertifikat wird angestrebt

Der neue Konzernhauptsitz sowie das noch im Bau befindliche Visitor Center und das Personalrestaurant zeichnen sich durch eine äusserst nachhaltige Planung durch das beauftragte Architekturbüro Burckhardt + Partner, Basel aus. Vom Energiemanagement über den Wasserverbrauch bis zu den verwendeten Baumaterialien oder der Gebäudetechnik – alles wurde so ressourcenschonend geplant und umgesetzt, damit das Gebäude als eines der ersten der Zentralschweiz eine LEED Gold Zertifizierung erhalten soll. LEED ist das international bekannteste Gebäudelabel und zeichnet Bauten aus, die nach messbar nachhaltigen Gesichtspunkten entwickelt, geplant und realisiert worden sind.

So werden beispielsweise mehr als 1'700 Photovoltaik-Module dafür sorgen, dass der Strombedarf der neuen Gebäude zu 50% aus lokal produzierter erneuerbarer Energie gewonnen wird. Dies entspricht ungefähr einem Jahres-Energiebedarf von 100 Haushalten. In einem nächsten Schritt eröffnet Schindler im März 2019 sein neues Personalrestaurant und eine Cafeteria mit Aussenterrasse. Mit der Eröffnung des Visitor Centers wird der Campus im Spätsommer 2019 komplettiert.
