Schindler is to fully acquire the German Dralle Aufzüge GmbH & Co KG. The family-owned elevator company from Bielefeld has been engaged for nearly 50 years in the manufacturing, installation, modernization and maintenance of elevators and has over 90 employees.
Schindler has been active in the German market since 1906. The acquisition of Dralle Aufzüge will further complement Schindler Germany’s strategic direction, particularly increasing its closeness to customers in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The closing of the transaction is subject to merger control clearance by the competent antitrust authorities.
Both parties agreed to keep the details of the transaction confidential.
