Schindler Holding AG has completed the sale of its operations in Japan to Otis Japan. As announced on April 5th, 2016, Schindler has found a strong and reputable owner for its business in Japan, ensuring continuity of service for our customers. Local employees will be retained by Otis in Japan.

Schindler will remain in Japan to meet its legal and societal obligations with respect to ongoing legal cases and will take all necessary actions until these are resolved.
