Today, the Tokyo District Court rendered its verdict about an elevator accident that occurred in Takeshiba more than 9 years ago. Schindler is relieved that our service technician has been cleared of any wrongdoing. We deeply regret that a precious life was lost in this tragic accident.

Today’s court decision followed extremely detailed and complex legal proceedings and technical analysis. This was preceded by a very thorough investigation.
