We announced the debut of our breakthrough Robotics Installation System for Elevators (R.I.S.E) in October 2018, paving the way for greater automation and digitalization in the elevator industry.
This year, we presented R.I.S.E at the CTBUH Tall + Urban Innovation Conference 2019 conference in Shenzhen, China from April 08-10. 2019, along with other innovations that bring urban mobility solutions to the next level. Over the three days, visitors and delegates had the chance to learn more about our groundbreaking innovations like R.I.S.E. and CLIMB Lift that improve quality and speed of construction while maintain safety on sites.

We are proud to be a pioneer of robotic applications on construction sites and to launch the future of high-rise elevator installation.
Fully developed by Schindler Innovation Teams, this autonomous self-climbing robot system measures the elevator shaft, drills the holes in the concrete walls and sets the anchor bolts for accurate bracket and guide rail installation.
With the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and M2M (machine-to-machine) learning capabilities, the new installation robotics system is more flexible in reacting and adapting to the specific and dynamic situations and changing environment found on building sites. Also, cloud connectivity enables remote control and software updates of the robot.
R.I.S.E increases the safety, quality and speed of installation.
The conference explores and celebrates the very best in innovative tall buildings, urban spaces, building technologies, and construction practices from around the world. This three-day conference sees the owner/developers, design, and engineer teams for 50+ Awarded projects present in front of an international audience and live juries for winning distinctions across several award categories.
