The renowned marketing prize of the Swiss Society for Marketing GfM goes to Schindler. CEO Thomas Oetterli received the award at the Grand Hotel Dolder in Zurich on October 30, 2018.
Schindler impressed the jury above all with its sustained corporate success, marketing orientation, and innovation. "We are incredibly proud to have been nominated for this award," says Thomas Oetterli, CEO of the Schindler Group, "for all employees," as he puts it. "The award is recognition of our innovative business activities, which are designed to differentiate us from our competitors.”
The jury believes that Schindler meets the requirements and was also impressed by Schindler's successful expansion in the growth market of Asia. Schindler has managed to grow profitably in Asia despite tough price pressure and a difficult market environment. Schindler is also considered a role model for successful digitization in the B2B sector and is even cited by Apple as a best-in-class B2B case.
Since 1984, the GfM has awarded the "Jahrespreis der Stiftung für Marketing in der Unternehmensführung" to companies for outstanding marketing services. Successful entrepreneurial results that are attributable to a high degree to innovative marketing strategies and effective measures are evaluated by the jury.
