Over the past eight years, these towering office and residential buildings, with their shopping malls, cultural institutions, and restaurants, have grown into the new West Manhattan neighborhood . And Schindler is right at the heart of it, at 10 Hudson Yards. Right next door is Schindler’s next project: One Manhattan West. This stunning 67-storey structure, rising to a height of 303 meters, is constructed of glass, steel, travertine, wood, and granite. Schindler has equipped the building with 39 Schindler 7000 elevators, all using Schindler PORT Technology.

If you take the elevator up to the 58th floor of One Manhattan West, you’ll find yourself facing a blue expanse so bright that it takes your breath away: the sky above New York and its two rivers – the Hudson to your left and the East River to your right. Standing level with the Empire State Building, you’ll be able to look down on Madison Square Garden, with the Statue of Liberty on watch in New York Harbor.
