China’s Top Employers was staged at the Swissotel Grand Shanghai on December 15, 2008. Schindler China was granted China’s Top Employer Award 2009 for China's South Region. After winning the award in Shanghai in 2007 and Beijing in 2008, Schindler has been awarded prestigious recognition for three years in a row, marking another significant milestone for the company’s continuous success in China. Mr. Mark F. Noble, President of Schindler China and Ms. Leslie Raymond, Human Resource Director of Schindler China represented Schindler at the award ceremony.
The award, organized by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) China, identifies top employers based on how successful they are at talent attraction and retention. Thanks to excellence in people development, a corporate culture that promotes integrity, and its unwavering commitment to creating value for customers, Schindler China is the only company in the escalator and elevator industry to be recognized.
“I am delighted that Schindler has been honored with this award, which recognizes our focus on people,” said Mark Noble, President of Schindler China. “Schindler is fully committed to creating a people-oriented culture that inspires excellence in everything we do – a culture that attracts and retains talents, develops their skills and rewards them appropriately for their contributions. We believe people are our key to sustainable business success."
