Vision and Definition of Diversity
Our Corporate Vision for Diversity is based on mutual respect and the recognition that each person brings his or her own unique attributes to the Group.

This vision is about an inclusive environment in which we leverage diversity to achieve the Group objectives and maximize the potential of individuals in the organization.

In order to fulfill our strategic vision of “Leadership Through Service”, we believe that our strong commitment to diversity can give all of us, individually and together, the best possible chance to succeed.

Diversity Means Differences
At Schindler, diversity means all the ways we differ. It includes visible differences such as race, color, gender, and age, as well as underlying differences such as nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability, education and beliefs.

We equally value, pursue, and leverage diversity in our relationships with customers and business partners.

Our Code of Conduct states clearly that Schindler employees must adhere to high ethical standards by respecting the rights and dignity of all persons, be they customers, fellow employees, suppliers, competitors, or government officials.

In hiring, no consideration is given to employees’ origin, nationality, race, religion, gender or age.
