eSourcing:
The eSourcing process plays a central role in the standard Schindler sourcing process as it supports the supplier negotiation phase. The sourcing technology aims to improve the efficiency of the traditional sourcing process. eRFX and online negotiation tools are perfectly integrated into the standard Schindler sourcing process and are well known by all strategic buyers.
The eRFX solution is more efficient and transparent on a global scale than the traditional process. The online negotiation empowers the supplier negotiation phase by exploiting the competition in a defined market.

eOrdering:
With the eOrdering application, the Schindler user deploys a platform where he can select an item from an electronic catalogue, place the selected item in a shopping chart and have the shopping cart content ordered from the supplier.
The eOrdering application ensures process and contract compliance on the defined catalogue and category scope to support Schindler's global savings targets.

ePtP
The ePtP concept addresses the process of electronic communication between Schindler and its external suppliers. This utilises an outsourced IT platform that ensures the safe transfer of data between Schindler and participating suppliers. SupplyOn is Schindler's partner for the operations of the electronic communication platform, including services for application hosting, customer support and supplier administration.
The ePtP communication platform, the so-called electronic market place, is an integrated solution that facilitates the smooth handling of logistics and financial processes. It allows Schindler to clearly structure the complex network of business relationships. Schindler and its suppliers no longer need to deal with varied layouts and heterogeneous data formats. Cost and time intensive sending of order and/or invoice data by fax or mail can be dispensed with. Media breaks in the exchange of information with the supplier are eliminated.
